OVERVIEW:

Blue Ridge Explorers is an exciting summer hiking club designed specifically for kids and families in the scenic Pisgah National Forest. Our program combines outdoor adventure with hands-on nature education, making it perfect for young explorers eager to discover Western North Carolina's natural wonders. Each session features fun activities, wildlife spotting, and age-appropriate nature lessons.

Led by experienced guides, our hikes cover 2-4 miles on kid-friendly trails. Routes are carefully selected to match the group's age and ability levels, ensuring an enjoyable experience for all participants. Our guides make learning fun through interactive games, nature scavenger hunts, and engaging stories about local plants and animals.

Groups are kept small (with a maximum of 12 participants) to ensure safety and individual attention.

All guides are certified in first aid and CPR.

An adult is required to book with children.
