Built by a guide, for guides
(and everyone who loves the outdoors).
Lost Terrain started with firsthand experience in the guiding world. As a former outdoor guide, our founder saw how traditional booking platforms could reduce an incredible outdoor experience to a few photos, a short description, and a booking button. But outdoor adventures have nuance. The terrain, preparation, logistics, expectations, and the person leading the trip all matter. When those details get lost, travelers can arrive unprepared and guides are left trying to fill in the gaps. We thought there had to be a better way. Lost Terrain was created specifically for outdoor adventures, giving guides more room to tell the full story of their trips and helping adventure seekers understand what they're getting into before they book.

Eli Adams
Eli is a former outdoor guide, lifelong adventurer, and the founder of Lost Terrain. Her experience in the field gave her a firsthand understanding of what goes into creating meaningful outdoor experiences—and inspired her to build a better way for guides and adventure seekers to find each other.
