
OVERVIEW:
This guided hike explores a scenic section of Pisgah National Forest, known for its rich biodiversity, and access to some of Western North Carolina’s most beautiful—and often hidden—waterfalls. The primary purpose of the outing is to visit one or more waterfalls while exploring the dense forest. The area’s protected trails and proximity to Asheville make it ideal for a half-day adventure.
Led by a professional naturalist guide, the hike covers 2–3 miles on easy to moderate trails. The route is chosen based on trail conditions and group ability, and is suitable for most fitness levels. Along the way, guides share insight into the area's ecology, geology, and natural history.
Group sizes are kept small (maximum of 6 hikers) to provide a personalized experience. Transportation from Asheville is included, along with snacks and trekking poles. Guides are trained in first aid and wilderness safety.

ITINERARY:
8:30 AM --- Meet your trail guide at a designated meeting spot in Downtown Asheville.
Details provided upon booking.
8:45 AM – Ride with your group, heading towards the Pisgah National Forest.
9:15 AM – Arrive at Trailhead
Approximately 2–2.5 hours, depending on the group's pace and time spent at each waterfall.
12:30 PM – Depart Pisgah National Forest & Head Back to Asheville
1:30 PM --- The tour ends here, but you can explore the city, grab lunch, or visit local shops and breweries.
What’s Included
This half-day hiking tour includes professional guiding services from a trained naturalist, round-trip transportation from downtown Asheville to the trailhead, and a 2–3-mile guided hike to one or more hidden waterfalls within Pisgah National Forest. The group size is limited to six hikers to ensure a personalized experience. Light snacks and water are provided, and trekking poles and daypacks are available upon request. All guides are certified in wilderness first aid and prepared to support a safe, enjoyable day on the trail.
Cancellation Policy
We conduct hikes in various weather conditions, with the exception of severe weather events (flooding, lightning, ice), in which case we offer the option to reschedule or receive a full refund. Our standard policy includes a 15% non-refundable administrative fee. We extend one complimentary rescheduling opportunity. Cancellations submitted more than seven days in advance receive a refund less the 15% fee. Cancellations within seven days qualify for a 50% refund. For cancellations within 48 hours, refunds are issued only in the event of severe weather-related cancellations by our team.
