Multi-Day Trips: Backpacking & International Adventures
Are you ready to truly unplug and immerse yourself in the outdoors? These trips range from beginner-friendly backpacking adventures to unforgettable international journeys, with lodging, transportation, and most meals included.
We've partnered with some of the best guides in the industry who have created epic itineraries in destinations like Oaxaca, Mexico, the Appalachian Trail near Asheville, North Carolina, and Mount St. Helens in Washington State.
Gear Included
One of the best parts about guided multi-day trips is that much of the gear is included. Designed with beginners in mind, these adventures make it easy to get started without investing hundreds—or even thousands—of dollars into your own gear collection.
Simply bring your personal essentials, show up ready for adventure, and let your guide handle the rest. It's also a great opportunity to test different gear and learn what works best for you before building your own collection.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What difficulty level are these trips?
A: The difficulty level varies by itinerary, but many of our trips are designed with beginners in mind. If you're new to backpacking, we recommend starting with an introductory backpacking trip in the Blue Ridge Mountains or a beginner-friendly backpacking adventure on Mount St. Helens. These trips provide a great introduction to carrying a backpack, hiking with added weight, sleeping in a tent, and using essential outdoor gear. Your guide will walk you through the equipment, answer questions, and help you build confidence in the backcountry.
Other trips, such as Women Who Write!, feature more elevation gain and longer days on the trail. While these adventures can be more physically demanding, they also reward participants with access to some of the most stunning and remote landscapes in Appalachia.
No matter your experience level, we encourage you to review each trip's itinerary and difficulty rating to find the adventure that's right for you.
